OBD-Saver
The security technology of today's automobiles is constantly being developed further - but thieves are not asleep either. They adapt to the circumstances and, for their part, always have new methods to get their hands on "the German's favorite possession" despite all the security.
The path always leads via the central electronics and thus via the control units - the main access is the OBD interface. This access is mechanically closed with the OBD saver and thus no manipulation of the responsible ECUs is possible.

According to the Federal Criminal Police Office, for example, in 2020 - 23,626 cars were reported as stolen - in purely mathematical terms, this corresponds to just under three cars per hour!
The nationwide average clearance rate is just under one third, because most of the stolen vehicles are either dismantled into individual parts or transported in one piece to Eastern European countries.
